Refunds will begin processing at varying times depending on the return type as defined by the seller.
When Refunds are Processed According to Return Type
There are three types of returns on Rivly and when refunds are processed:
- Returnable items - you will be given a pre-paid mailing label to ship the item back to the seller and your refund will be processed once the carrier receives/scans your package
- Returnless items - the seller that you do not need to ship the item back and your refund will be processed immediately
- Unreturnable items - very few items on Rivly are not returnable, though certain food items, personal products and others may fall into this category and it will be displayed on the product detail page. These items are not able to be returned/refunded unless they are defective, in which case their refund will often be processed immediately after completing the online process if the seller does not request the item to be mailed back.
Refund Delivery Timing
Once your refund begins processing according to the schedule outlined above based on the return types, you will receive your refund depending on which of the following options you have selected during the return process:
- IMMEDIATELY receiving your refund in your rewards balance for use
OR
- 5-7 DAYS to receive your refund back to your original payment method
